Role OverviewThe Field Service Mechanic will play a mission-critical role in the daily operations of the rental pump division, responsible for the service and repair of rental pumps, working closely with the rest of the rental team to provide a first-class customer experience.
What You Will Do
The Field Service Mechanic will troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and pump end issues, provide a first-class customer experience, and safely utilize all tools and equipment.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent mechanical aptitude
- Desire to learn
- Customer 1st attitude
- Working knowledge and experience with diesel engine repairs (including Tier 4 Emissions) and electrical issues
- Thorough understanding of the methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in equipment repair and maintenance
- Advanced knowledge of DC electric and circuit testing skills
- Advanced knowledge of AC electric motors, up to 500v systems
- Advanced knowledge of 3-phase and single-phase systems and motors
- Experience working on construction or industrial work sites preferred
- Ability to safely operate diesel-powered hydraulic lifting equipment, i.e., forklifts, front-end loaders, two-motors, telehandlers, etc.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently in a fast-paced environment and work flexible hours in order to respond to customer emergencies
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- CDL A License required
- Forklift certification
