Role OverviewField Tech- Power Systems Technicians perform service, test, and maintain various types of power transmission and distribution equipment.
What You Will Do
Inspect, test, troubleshoot, perform start-up, and collect data of low, medium, and/or high voltage electrical systems.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a strong background and experience in most types of high voltage equipment through the 230 kV class, and be able to work safely and adhere to all electrical safety procedures.
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field
- Knowledge of various industry standards such as: NETA, NEC, OSHA, and NFPA
- Ability to work safely and adhere to all electrical safety procedures
