Role OverviewRepairs and maintains electric, diesel, and gasoline industrial trucks and/or construction equipment. Works in a variety of environments, including office, job sites, and industrial locations.
What You Will Do
Reads work orders, diagnoses problems, makes mechanical repairs, and records repair descriptions. Communicates with customers, tracks and schedules maintenance, and submits time cards.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to work effectively before groups of customers or employees is required.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- One to Three months related experience and/or training
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
