Job Description
Qualdoc is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician/Installer to service customers in Central Virginia. The role involves diagnosing and fixing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety compliance. Overnight shifts are required and may involve overtime.

Requirements

  • Inspect overhead industrial cranes and hoists.
  • Troubleshoot and repair overhead material handling equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment (strong knowledge of motor controls).
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment.
  • Support customers with equipment repairs.
  • Evaluate and recommend required repairs.
  • Provide clear communication with customers and the office.
  • Work in various environments.
  • Familiar with electrical troubleshooting, drives, gearboxes and field welding.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Must be U.S. Citizenship, U.S. permanent resident, or lawful permanent resident.
