Job Description

Field Supervisor oversees and coordinates activities of subcontracted labor crews engaged in new installation of roofing, siding, and gutters.

Requirements

Source and recruit labor crews (subcontractors)
Assign daily installation jobs
Interpret job orders to determine type of work and materials required
Perform a daily walk-through of assigned subdivisions, inspecting for both quality and safety
Maintain constant communication with builders
Work closely with the scheduling department and warehouse to monitor material usage for accuracy
Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules
Serve as liaison between crews and builders with regard to daily installs
Enforce safety regulations and remain abreast of OSHA regulations specific to industry
Perform other duties as assigned
