As a Field Tech 1, you will be responsible for collecting water samples and related environmental testing data for use in determining environmental and health safety compliance and pollution prevention control.
What You Will Do
The tech will be responsible for providing wastewater and/or groundwater testing services to clients in the greater twin cities and surrounding areas, including northern MN. Daily sampling projects will range from surface water, drinking water, ground water, soil, to industrial process waste.

Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record
- Mobility to safely operate a motor vehicle and exert up to 75 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects
- Vision to read printed materials and computer screens
- Hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone
- Experience operating a watercraft and off-road driving experience utilizing ATVs is a plus
