Role OverviewWe are seeking a Field Technician I to collect samples, observe, and/or inspect products or raw materials for laboratory analysis. The role involves working under immediate supervision, collecting samples, preparing samples, and delivering them to the laboratory for analysis. The position requires a valid TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Card) and may require a 24-hour surface Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) certificate.
What You Will Do
Collect samples, prepare samples, deliver samples to the laboratory, perform sample screening and/or other related physical tests, ensure all equipment and containers are organized and cleaned, and ensure compliance with all required local and federal safety processes and procedures.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, no experience required, and a valid driver's license. The role requires strong communication skills, ability to follow directions, and a team player attitude.
