Role OverviewPerform advanced repairs on material handling equipment in the field, independently and to customer satisfaction. Review work schedules, prepare for duties, and troubleshoot equipment using repair manuals and parts diagrams.
What You Will Do
Load service trucks, use hand and power tools to remove, install, and repair parts, and perform safety checks on equipment. Use miscellaneous resources and computers to reference parts and enter data into record systems.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have six years of experience with material handling equipment, proficiency in at least two mechanical systems, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to effectively communicate and provide good customer service.
Requirements
- High school education or GED
- Six years of experience with material handling equipment
- Proficiency in at least two mechanical systems
- Valid state driver's license
- Safe driving record
- Ability to lift/position parts up to 95 pounds
