Role OverviewWe are seeking a Field Technician focused exclusively on the commissioning, programming, and troubleshooting of lighting control systems. This is not a fixture installation role. You will work on large construction sites (frequently AI data centers), ensuring sensors, network backbone, zone programming, and control systems perform as designed.
What You Will Do
Commission, program, and troubleshoot lighting control systems on-site, including occupancy/daylight sensors, network backbone, zone programming, and system integration. Diagnose and resolve control, communication, and performance issues in coordination with electrical contractors and general contractors.

Requirements
- Hands-on experience commissioning and programming commercial lighting control systems.
- Strong understanding of networked lighting controls, sensors, and zone-based programming.
- Ability to read and interpret control schematics, riser diagrams, and system layouts.
- Process-oriented mindset with excellent documentation habits.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills with both field and corporate stakeholders.
- Willingness and ability to travel 50–75% (domestic U.S. only), with heavy focus on Texas projects.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work on active construction sites.
