Role Overview

The Field Development Trainer is responsible for designing, delivering, and supporting world-class training programs that enhance the technical skills, safety performance, and operational effectiveness of field personnel. This role plays a key role in developing job-specific training that reinforces Precision Drilling’s strong safety culture, operational excellence, and commitment to employee development.

What You Will Do

Facilitate new employee onboarding, deliver engaging, job-specific training programs for field personnel, operate and support rig training equipment, and serve as a coach, mentor, and problem solver for field employees.

They will also have 3+ years of training experience, demonstrated coaching and mentoring capabilities, and excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and leadership skills.

Requirements

  • Field experience with a proven safety record
  • Drilling experience (Driller level preferred)
  • Alpha A&N knowledge
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Post-secondary education (asset)
  • 3+ years of training experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean driving abstract
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SuccessFactors, and SharePoint
