Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Finance Assistant - Accounts Receivable/Bookkeeper to maintain accounts receivable records and enter journal entries into the General Ledger for the church. This position reports directly to the Finance Director and is responsible for processing incoming funds, preparing donor receipts, data entry, and reporting.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree (or higher) in Accounting and/or Business Administration
  • 3-5 years of experience with accounts receivable and/or general accounting
  • General knowledge of basic accounting principles with nonprofits or churches
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
