Job Description
Direct Counsel is seeking a Finance Associate Attorney to join a highly respected Am Law firm’s Chicago office. The ideal candidate will have experience drafting and negotiating a wide range of finance documents and a solid foundation in corporate and secured lending matters.

Requirements

  • Approximately 4–6 years of experience in finance or banking law
  • Experience with loan documentation, credit agreements, and secured transactions required
  • Prior law firm experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of UCC and general corporate finance principles
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment
