Role Overview

Join a leading global law firm's Financial Industry Group in Boston, focusing on Venture Debt & Growth Financing. Represent banks, private credit funds, and other financial institutions in complex financing matters, with opportunities to work with innovative companies across various sectors.

What You Will Do

Represent lenders in commercial finance transactions, draft and negotiate loan agreements, security and collateral documents, intercreditor agreements, and closing documents. Manage and coordinate financing transactions, advise lender clients on transaction structure, and collaborate with attorneys and deal teams on domestic and cross-border financing matters.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • 3+ years of experience handling commercial finance transactions, preferably representing lenders
  • Experience representing banks, private credit funds, or other financial institutions
  • Significant experience drafting and negotiating loan agreements, security and collateral documentation, intercreditor agreements, and closing documents
  • Familiarity with borrowers in the technology, life sciences, fintech, frontier technology, and/or digital assets sectors is strongly preferred
  • Cross-border transaction experience is a plus
  • Active Massachusetts Bar admission required
