Role OverviewWe are looking for a Finance Director to build a finance practice from the ground up, working with a small team of AI agents and junior accounting staff. The role involves delivering bookkeeping, accounting, and FP&A to multiple clients, with a focus on excellent delivery and scalability.
What You Will Do
Manage daily bookkeeping, reconciliations, payables, receivables, payroll coordination, and month-end close. Use QuickBooks as the primary accounting system, connect revenue, cost, and operational data to produce KPI dashboards and forecasts, and deliver a 13-week or 26-week cash forecast for each client every week.

Requirements
- Managed an accounting department, team, or finance function
- Strong FP&A skills: cash forecasts, rolling forecasts, budgets, variance analysis, and management reports
- Significant hands-on experience with QuickBooks
- NetSuite and Sage experience is a plus
- Ability to build useful structure from an incomplete starting point
- Adaptability to the constraints of each client
- Ability to write English well and speak it at a conversational level on Zoom and client calls
