Role OverviewThe Finance Grants Manager at Newport Mental Health ensures accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial stewardship across multiple funding streams.
What You Will Do
Manage and bill all federal, state, and private grants, ensure allowable cost compliance, and collaborate with program managers to ensure accurate tracking of funds.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience (7+ years) in a management role, preferably in behavioral health, healthcare, or nonprofit organizations
- Familiarity with CCBHC financial requirements, Medicaid billing, and cost reporting
- Experience managing federal grants, Single Audits and multi-fund grant environments
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit accounting (FASB)
- Proficiency with complex accounting systems Blackbaud, MIP, and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, grant-funded environment
