Role OverviewThe Finance Manager will play a key role within the R&D Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization, responsible for financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, analysis, and accounting close activities for Development and Oncology Development/Precision Medicines organizations.

Key responsibilities include leading financial planning and analysis, providing actionable financial insights, identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies, and ensuring compliance with internal financial policies, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and GAAP requirements.

Requirements
- Doctorate degree OR Master's degree AND 2 years of Finance experience OR Bachelor's degree AND 4 years of Finance experience OR Associate's degree AND 8 years of Finance experience OR High school diploma / GED AND 10 years of Finance experience
- 5+ years of corporate finance experience, including progressive responsibility in FP&A and/or accounting roles
- Relevant experience in financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting within a matrixed organization
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a solid understanding of finance and accounting principles
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex financial data and translate insights for non-finance partners
- Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills, with experience communicating to senior leadership
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and levels
- Ability to think strategically while maintaining attention to detail and execution quality
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a complex, cross-functional matrix environment
- Proficiency in financial systems and experience working with AI/Automation tools, including SAP, Hyperion planning and reporting systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint), ChatGPT, Alteryz
