Role Overview

The Vermont Department of Health Business Office is recruiting for a Financial Administrator I to join the budget team. In this role, you will develop budgets and expense projections for a portfolio of divisions within the Department, monitor spending against forecasts, analyze expenses and trends, and track special fund revenue and expenses.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • three (3) years or more of accounting experience maintaining, reviewing and analyzing financial data and records
  • OR Associate's degree in accounting, business/office administration
  • OR two (2) years or more of accounting experience maintaining, reviewing and analyzing financial data and records
  • OR Bachelor's degree in accounting, business/office administration
  • OR One (1) year or more of experience as a Financial Specialist III with the State of Vermont
