Role OverviewThe Financial Analyst - Indirect Tax will possess an understanding of sales/use tax and property tax laws and regulations, combined with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. This position will be the primary contact for any tax related requests from the RBC Corporate Tax Department and will be responsible for the accounting treatment of the company's leases as well as monitoring the Vertex tax software.
What You Will Do
Prepare information for filing of sales/use tax and property tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual tax processes. Conduct thorough reviews of tax workpapers and supporting schedules.

Requirements
- BS/BA in accounting or finance from an accredited university
- 3-5 years of general accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Exposure to sales/use tax and property tax returns preferred
- SOX/Internal controls experience preferred
- Intermediate skill level of Microsoft Excel
- SAP experience a plus
- Vertex and Vistex experience a plus
