Role OverviewThe Financial Analyst – Trade Spend position will be responsible for clearing all Customers’ Deductions, setting up Promotional codes within the System, and ensuring proper booking of all Trade Accruals month to month. This role requires a detail and process-oriented individual with a clear understanding of how to review and audit each deduction to ensure the amount deducted is valid and accurate. This position will work within the Trade Spend team, interacting with Sales and Customers to clarify any deduction in question.
What You Will Do
Assist on any Trade Spend Budgeting process, maintain trade accrual database, administer and enforce deduction management policies, process Journal Entries for any deduction clearance and prepare trade accruals, detail tracking of communication to customers and status of each deduction, reporting of Deduction aging, and understand customers’ deductions trends.

Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge in SAP and Business Objects is a plus
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to quickly change priorities and handle competing priorities
- Must be extremely accurate and detail-oriented in performing tasks and cross-checking work
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to tactfully communicate with customers and sales team to resolve any invalid deductions or disputes
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus
