Role OverviewAssists in maintenance of cost accounting methodologies for UH Health System, including overhead allocation and statistical drivers. Develops reporting solutions and analyses for management and senior leadership.
What You Will Do
Monitors and recommends enhancements to data extracts from source systems, ensures data integrity, and works closely with IT on system upgrades and testing. Develops reporting solutions and analyses for management and senior leadership.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years accounting experience
- Health care accounting experience (Preferred)
- Good understanding of GAAP, general ledger, health care cost accounting, and budget process
- Must possess analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong work ethic and good organizational skills
- Team player with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be a thought leader and perform proactively
- System conversion/implementation experience (Preferred)
- Familiar with healthcare operations and budget process extremely beneficial
