Job Description
Role Overview

The Financial Analyst applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare reports to meet internal and external reporting requirements. Working closely with program managers to interpret the company's financial results, the analyst prepares annual budgets and provides financial support to ensure sound business decisions.

What You Will Do

Oversight of the monthly financial activities for selected programs, review monthly income statement, prepare journal entries and provide explanations for material budget variances, work closely with program managers to summarize the financial performance of their programs on a monthly basis.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree
  • 1 year progressive work place experience in a finance or accounting/business environment
  • Knowledge of various funding sources in human services
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of Great Plain accounting system
