Financial Analyst

We're looking for a Financial Analyst who can act as a fractional CFO for a book of 10 to 15 clients. This role involves building financial forecasts, developing tailored financial plans, and analyzing income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to spot opportunities and risks.

What You Will Do

You'll serve as a trusted financial advisor, build and maintain financial models, budgets, and reporting packages, and advise clients on expense management, people costs, marketing spend, and owner draws. You'll also prepare and deliver monthly financial reporting packages and forecasts, and set short and long term financial goals alongside each client.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting, ideally in a consulting or advisory capacity
• Strong grasp of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting, plus a solid understanding of the month end close cycle
• Comfort with cash to accrual concepts and the tradeoffs between them
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Proven ability to take complex financial concepts and make them make sense to a small business owner
• A genuine desire to keep improving: coachable, curious, and always looking to get better
