Role OverviewThe Financial Analyst supports the organization’s financial planning and analysis efforts by preparing reports, analyzing financial data, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, monitors performance trends, and provides actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
What You Will Do
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, forecasts, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders. Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, cost-saving opportunities, and revenue growth potential. Perform variance analysis comparing actual results to budget and forecast, and explain key drivers.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The position requires strong numerical and analytical skills, including calculations involving percentages, interest, commissions, and financial metrics. Familiarity with US GAAP, SOX, or J-SOX requirements is also necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP Business One or SAP S/4HANA, are preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or corporate finance
- Working knowledge of financial regulations, corporate finance principles, and accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS)
- Experience with financial systems such as SAP (Business One or S/4HANA), Oracle, QuickBooks, and advanced Excel skills
