Job Description
We are seeking a Financial Associate (Payroll) to join our team at the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate payroll processing, verifying timesheets, and maintaining records. They will also be responsible for interpreting various collective bargaining unit agreements, DAS directives, DRC policies and procedures relating to payroll, and assisting with presentations, new hire orientation and training sessions on payroll issues.

Requirements

  • 18 months experience or 18 months training in accounting and/or finance
  • Completion of high school technical program in accounting; 6 months experience or 6 months training in accounting or finance
  • Completion of associate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field
