Requirements

  • Accurately complete patient accounts based on departmental protocol and policies
  • Ensure timely insurance coverage and inform patients of financial liability
  • Obtain authorizations based on insurance plan contracts and guidelines
  • Document billing system and provide assistance to patients and visitors
  • Resolve insurance claim rejections/denials and remedy expediently
