Role Overview

The Financial Clerk will perform various financial tasks, including maintaining and reconciling financial records, ordering materials, and safeguarding district assets. The role requires regular attendance and punctual attendance at the worksite. The Financial Clerk will work under the supervision of the Principal and will not have any supervisory responsibilities.

What You Will Do

The Financial Clerk will perform tasks such as entering receipts, writing checks, balancing bank statements, counting money, and preparing bank deposits. They will also order materials, follow up on orders, receive goods, and input receipts or deductions. Additionally, they will travel to the administrative building to pick up or deliver documents/materials and maintain communication with central administration departments.

The Financial Clerk should have a high school diploma and administrative technical training. They should also have three years of office-related experience in cash handling, accounting, and bookkeeping. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of bookkeeping/accounting systems, including revenue, expenses, and general job costing. They should also be proficient in MS-Office Excel, Word, and Oracle, and have demonstrated flexibility and willingness to remain current with the latest developments in the profession.
