Job Description
The State of Florida is seeking a Financial Crime Investigator I to join the Department of Financial Services' Criminal Investigations Division. The successful candidate will conduct investigative activities under the direct supervision of an Investigations Manager and support the mission of the Division of Public Assistance Fraud.

Requirements

  • Four years of professional work experience in one or more of the following areas: criminal justice, law enforcement, conducting research/interviews, data analysis, investigations, financial auditing, or public assistance programs
  • Valid Driver's License from the Florida Department of Safety and Motor Vehicles by time of employment
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
  • Ability to establish effective working relationship with others
  • Ability to work as a part of a team with shared mission and goals
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize assignments to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Ability to use deductive reasoning
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate information
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust investigative plans-based developments
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
