Job Description
The Financial Development Assistant supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

Requirements

  • Previous work experience in donor relations, administrative support, finance, or event planning preferred.
  • Strong verbal, written and public communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva Design platform, Adobe Acrobat Pro; experience with donor or financial databases highly preferred.
  • Ability to work and handle confidential information with integrity, discretion, and a professional approach.
  • Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Completion of YMCA required training.
