Job Description
The Financial Development Assistant supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
Requirements
Previous work experience in donor relations, administrative support, finance, or event planning preferred.
Strong verbal, written and public communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva Design platform, Adobe Acrobat Pro; experience with donor or financial databases highly preferred.
Ability to work and handle confidential information with integrity, discretion, and a professional approach.
Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Completion of YMCA required training.
