Job Description
The Agency of Education is looking for a collaborative, detail driven financial professional to join their team as the Financial Director. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in governmental accounting, grant management, or public finance and experience supervising accounting or financial staff.
Requirements
Strong background in governmental accounting, grant management, or public finance
Experience supervising accounting or financial staff
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a compliance driven environment
Deep knowledge of federal regulations (EDGAR, 2CFR Part 200), and state regulations (bulletin 5)
Strong communication skills and comfort working with internal and external partners
