Role OverviewThe Financial Officer I will support the financial operations of the UAB Center for AIDS Research (CFAR) by providing daily fiscal services, monitoring budgets, reconciling financial activity, and providing timely financial information to CFAR leadership, faculty, and staff.
What You Will Do
Key duties include making decisions regarding the use of financial resources, providing financial guidance to assigned staff, managing departmental accounts, and developing and administering budgets.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business, or a related field

- Financial administration experience in a university, healthcare, or research environment
