Job Description
Financial Principal Auditor organizes and leads financial and compliance audits of various state agencies. Reviews fiscal and accounting functions, evaluates grant programs, and ensures compliance with laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or non-accounting degree with accounting courses equivalent to 24 quarter or 18 semester credit hours
  • Three years of professional level financial auditing experience or five years of governmental audit experience
  • Knowledge of AICPA (Clarified) Generally Accepted Auditing Standards, auditing standards, and audit methodologies
  • Verbal communication skills and ability to lead and direct staff auditors
