Job Description
The Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and producing financial reports in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and GASB principles. The role involves reviewing, interpreting, and documenting complex financial transactions and disclosures to support public accountability and informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Proven experience in public sector financial reporting or other highly regulated industry
  • Expertise in preparing the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) and meeting GASB standards
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Government Finance Officer (CGFO) certification
  • Valid Florida Driver's License
  • Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS): Excel Associate or Expert, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (Power BI & Excel)
