Role OverviewThe Fire Alarm Estimator will support a growing fire alarm division by performing take-offs, pricing, and bid preparation across new construction, retrofit, and service-related fire alarm projects.
What You Will Do
Perform accurate take-offs, prepare complete bids and proposals, read and interpret drawings, apply knowledge of NFPA 72 and local AHJ requirements, source and price devices, and coordinate with sales and engineering teams.

Requirements
- 3+ years of fire alarm estimating experience
- Working knowledge of NFPA 72 and fire alarm code requirements
- Experience with fire alarm system platforms such as Notifier, Simplex, EST3, EST4, Siemens, or Kidde
- Proficiency reading construction drawings, specifications, and fire protection plans
- Experience with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar) preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for client and internal coordination
- NICET certification in Fire Alarm Systems a plus
