Job Description
HDR is seeking a Fire & Life Safety Engineer to join their multi-discipline design and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in fire protection engineering and code consulting, and be able to provide leadership in delivering fire & life safety design services. The role will involve executing production, managing projects, and collaborating with internal and external clients.

Requirements

  • Fire protection engineering and code consulting efforts
  • Project management
  • Designing fire sprinkler, suppression, and fire alarm systems layouts
  • Knowledge of NFPA Codes and International Building and Fire Codes
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
