Job Description
As a Fire & Life Safety Specialist at HDR, you'll develop Fire Protection and Life Safety drawings for facilities, working under the supervision of Fire Protection Technicians or Engineers. You'll also perform other duties as needed, and contribute to the company's employee-owned culture.

Requirements

  • Develop Fire Protection drawings for facilities such as fire suppression systems, fire alarm and detection systems, and alternate extinguishing systems
  • Develop Life Safety drawings for facilities such as occupancy calculations, travel distances, code compliance drawings, passive fire protection systems
  • Use computer-aided design software, such as AutoCAD, to develop drawings
  • Perform other duties as needed
