Requirements

  • Prepare and apply fire protection systems and sound control coatings
  • Ensure proper materials, tools, and equipment are being used for the specified tasks
  • Reads blueprints and data to determine requirements for the job
  • Select the amount and type of fireproofing to be installed as well as a method of application according to the type and shape of surface
  • Demonstrate the installation, fitting, fabrication and attachment of fireproofing materials
  • Organize and order material as needed
