Role OverviewAs a Fire Protection Engineer, you will be responsible for managing fire protection portions of complex projects, evaluating and applying engineering techniques, and taking responsibility for all aspects of the work. You will work with clients and contractors, and be part of a team that designs and engineers critical infrastructure for the digital age. Your work will support technological advancement, sustainability, and human experience.
What You Will Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing fire protection portions of projects, evaluating and applying engineering techniques, taking responsibility for drawings and specifications, meeting schedules and budgets, and directing assigned staff. You will also meet with clients and contractors, and be responsible for programming and conceptualizing complex systems and projects.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
- Previous experience in commercial or institutional facilities
- Computer experience using MS Office, Trane TRACE or similar software, manufacturer selection software
- NICET III or NICET IV certification
