Role Overview

The Fire Safety Director will lead staff and provide professional customer-focused security and life safety services for the people and property they protect. They will maintain a visible presence in the facility, monitor the environment, and enforce facility policies and procedures. The role requires strong interpersonal communication skills, good organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.

What You Will Do

The Fire Safety Director will perform various duties, including maintaining a professional demeanor, monitoring the environment, and enforcing facility policies and procedures. They will also be responsible for preparing reports, testing and inspecting fire extinguishers, and performing fire-fighting duties during emergencies.

The ideal candidate will have a state or municipality mandated security officer license, a Fire Safety Directors license, and reliable means of communication and transportation. Requirements

  • State or municipality mandated security officer licenses
  • Minimum High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent
  • Must have Fire Safety Directors license
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn fire inspection operations, and procedures
  • Must have a security guard license or be able to obtain one within an acceptable period
  • Previous contract security, law enforcement, fire department, military, customer service experience preferred
