Role OverviewThe Fire Safety Director supports Harvard Protection in providing best-in-class security and life safety services. They are responsible for leading staff, aiding customers, and maintaining a visible presence in the facility. The Fire Safety Director must detect suspicious and unsafe activity, become familiar with incoming and outgoing traffic, and enforce facility policies and procedures.
What You Will Do
The Fire Safety Director will maintain a professional demeanor, answer phones, and perform clear and audible announcements. They will permit authorized persons to enter the property, monitor entrances and exits, and follow established emergency action planning and fire protection standards. The Fire Safety Director may perform operations-related functions, test and inspect fire extinguishers, and prepare reports.

Requirements
- State or municipality mandated security officer licenses
- Minimum High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent
- Must have Fire Safety Directors license
- Knowledge of or ability to learn fire inspection operations, and procedures
- Must have a security guard license or be able to obtain one within an acceptable period
- Previous contract security, law enforcement, fire department, military, customer service experience preferred
