Job Description
The Fire Safety Inspector position will service Portage & Geauga counties, conducting fire safety inspections and enforcing compliance with the Ohio Fire Code, training new inspectors, and investigating complaints of fire safety violations.
Requirements
Certificate evidencing satisfactory completion of fire safety inspector training program issued by state superintendent of public instruction
12 mos. exp. in conducting fire safety inspections for compliance with ORC, OFC, OBBC, referenced standards & other state agency rules
Valid driver’s license
