Role OverviewThe Fire Sprinkler Designer is responsible for creating detailed designs of fire sprinkler systems using computer-aided design (CAD) software. The designer assists in the creation of functional and well-designed products and structures by translating design concepts into accurate technical plans.
What You Will Do
Key responsibilities include creating detailed designs, coordinating sprinkler system piping, performing hydraulic calculations, reading and interpreting construction documents, and communicating with AHJs, contractors, and other trades.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or degree, NICET Certification level II, and 4+ years of experience in fire sprinkler design. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and industry codes such as IFC, NFPA, IBC, and NEC is required.
