Role OverviewThe Firefighter Medic must be ready to promptly respond to emergency situations involving fire, perform fire suppression techniques, and provide rescue and emergency medical services.
What You Will Do
Performs fire prevention and suppression activities, administers patient care, assists with cleaning and maintenance, participates in training, and submits accurate reports.

Requires ability to react quickly, work as a team member, and complete the department's approved Ocean Reef Firefighter Readiness Drill.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to react quickly and courteously with the public
- Ability to work as a team member on a 24-hour shift operation
- Requires the use of fire apparatus, patrol vehicles, radios, sirens, emergency lights, and other firefighting and rescue equipment
- Ability to complete the department's approved Ocean Reef Firefighter Readiness Drill
