Role OverviewMaintain the safe and efficient operation of the incinerator, steam boilers, and other related mechanical/electrical equipment. Maintain, expand, and improve the hospital's energy management systems.
What You Will Do
Carry out written and/or verbal assignments, read blueprints and wiring diagrams, fire and shut down steam boilers and the incinerator recovery boiler, and maintain necessary logs.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The incumbent must have manual dexterity, motor coordination, and a high degree of mechanical ability. Familiarity with primary power circuits and emergency power back-up systems is essential.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Junior College/Technical School – (Two Years/Union Hall Apprenticeship)
- Minimum of 2 to 5 Years of Position-Related Experience
- 5+ Years of Position-Related Experience is preferred
