Job Description

First Descents is a nonprofit that provides life-changing outdoor adventures for young adults impacted by cancer and other serious health conditions. The Program Coordinator will work in close coordination with the Programs Team to play a key role in the logistical setup and execution of all FD’s programs.

Requirements

Collect detailed partner information through email and phone communication
Organize program location information in a presentable and evergreen format
Oversee pre-program communication between Field Staff, volunteers, and partners
Manage inventory, create shipping schedules, and execute delivery of program boxes
Oversee documentation collection and debriefs from partners
Book all rental vehicles and other internal transportation needs
Review and respond to field-based documentation and escalate accordingly
Support in the execution of routine research initiatives for existing and prospective program locations
Work with community members to plan successful Community Adventures (CA)
Aid in building out the program webpages and marketing approval project
Serve as contingency Field Staff and willingly respond to staffing needs
Cover the Programs Hotline during the Programs Season
