Job Description
First Descents is a nonprofit that provides life-changing outdoor adventures for young adults impacted by cancer and other serious health conditions. The Program Coordinator will work in close coordination with the Programs Team to play a key role in the logistical setup and execution of all FD’s programs.

Requirements

  • Collect detailed partner information through email and phone communication
  • Organize program location information in a presentable and evergreen format
  • Oversee pre-program communication between Field Staff, volunteers, and partners
  • Manage inventory, create shipping schedules, and execute delivery of program boxes
  • Oversee documentation collection and debriefs from partners
  • Book all rental vehicles and other internal transportation needs
  • Review and respond to field-based documentation and escalate accordingly
  • Support in the execution of routine research initiatives for existing and prospective program locations
  • Work with community members to plan successful Community Adventures (CA)
  • Aid in building out the program webpages and marketing approval project
  • Serve as contingency Field Staff and willingly respond to staffing needs
  • Cover the Programs Hotline during the Programs Season
