Role OverviewAs a First Steps 4K Teacher at The Sunshine House, you will be shaping a child's future by creating a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment. You will support children's social and emotional development, foster a love of learning through Creative Curriculum and Brain Connect programs, and implement the SC state First Steps 4K curriculum to prepare children for success in kindergarten.
What You Will Do
Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include ensuring a safe and healthy learning environment, creating an engaging classroom, supporting children's social and emotional development, and building strong partnerships with families through daily app updates and personal discussions.

Requirements
- Passion for working with young children
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass background checks & health assessments
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. for child safety and emergencies
- ECD 101 or higher for assistant teachers
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field
- At least 6 months of experience at a licensed childcare center
