Job Description
The State of Connecticut, State Department of Education is currently recruiting for a Fiscal Administrative Assistant position, with the Bureau of Fiscal Services (BFS) Accounting unit. This position will assist the Accounting unit in various ways, including the monitoring and managing of submission timelines and due dates for state and federal reporting.

Requirements

  • 4 years of experience in complex clerical work in one or more fiscal/administrative functions
  • Experience using Core-CT Financials
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables
  • Experience with bank reconciliations
  • Experience with deadline tracking and oversight activities
