Job Description
We are recruiting a Fiscal Service Officer 1 to support MDOT SHA's Office of Finance, dedicated to the accident billing process. This role manages the distribution, tracking, and documentation of crash reports, including billing status, follow-up actions, and determinations of billable or non-billable incidents, and related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Distribute and collect accident billing reports from Shops/Districts and maintain accurate records of all incidents.
  • Document the progress and disposition of each crash report, ensuring all stages are tracked and reported.
  • Identify and record whether each incident is billable or non-billable, including documenting reasons for non-billable determinations.
