FIT Supervisor - Weekend Shift (6am-6 pm)

Manage a team of Team Leads and Team Members in achieving production testing throughput with a focus on Safety, Quality, and Efficiency. This role will be based in Newark, DE and will work a fully on-site, in-office schedule with shift hours of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6am-6pm.

What You Will Do

Create and document Standardized Work practices, develop and implement production scalability and workflow plans, and supervise and motivate a team of Team Leads and Team Members. Additionally, this role will be responsible for implementing new testing processes and operations, maintaining and improving quality and productivity metrics, and coordinating with internal department teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of proven success as a hands-on leader and supervisory experience
• Electrical experience/background strongly preferred
• Computer systems knowledge including proficiency with MS Office programs, especially Microsoft Excel
• Ability to understand and resolve 1st level issues on the floor with equipment, process, or manpower
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principals
• Superior communication skills (written, verbal, and active listening)
• Highly motivated self-starter, capable of self-management with little to no oversight
• Willingness to adapt to change and learn new technical and computer skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish effective cross-functional working relationships
• Organized with good planning and time management skills
• Proficient with interviewing, training, developing, and handling disciplinary matters
