Role OverviewThe Fitness Instructor will assist in creating and implementing new fitness programs, instruct and monitor physical fitness activities, and provide personal attention to guests' needs. The role is on-call and reports to the Miraval Director of Spa and Wellbeing. The ideal candidate has a background in cardio workout and group fitness instruction.
What You Will Do
Conducts a variety of fitness classes, evaluates guests' physical fitness levels, performs private training sessions, prepares fitness equipment, and maintains effective guest relations.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate has 3+ years of fitness instruction experience, a college degree in Exercise Science, and/or personal trainer certifications from ACE, AFAA, NASM, or ACSM. CPR and AED certification, as well as first aid certification, are required.
Requirements
- 3+ years of fitness instruction experience
- College Degree in Exercise Science and/or Personal Trainer Certifications from ACE, AFAA, NASM, or ACSM
- CPR and AED certified and first aid certification required
- Must have weekend availability
