Job Description
Meyer Utility Structures is looking for a 2nd Shift Lead Welder to lead a team in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring daily work assignments are completed accurately and on time. The role requires strong leadership characteristics, scheduling experience, and proficiency in computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Requirements

  • Experience in a metal fabrication or welding facility
  • Thorough knowledge of blueprints and layouts
  • Scheduling experience for the jobs to be produced per bay daily
  • Dispatching experience to keep track of the poles coming in and out of the shop
  • Proficient computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
